Job Details

·   Perform as Lead Field Engineer support for assigned Market to start kickoff project specific to wireless Technology. Support field technician to follow OEM standard (Commissioning/Integration and Full EF & I) and apply current Method of procedure. Close coordination with PM Market for NTP (Notice to proceed) and site scheduling. Perform site Audit and submit closed out package required by customer.

·   Perform the full commissioning of OEM Base Station of different technology GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, LTE, – BTS staging from up to deployment of fully operational network system.

·   Perform Data Collection through drive test and Bench Marking of different wireless technologies.

·   Technical Consultant/Support for Technical Field Engineer working on specific wireless technology.

·   Perform the provisional acceptance test (PAT) with customer (i.e. hardware/software testing, test calls (IS-95B) and network system coverage) prior to cut over of whole network system.

·   Do the supervision and assist field engineers for BTS deployment and hardware/software testing.

·   Interpret the site design drawings and other information in order to correctly place and build the network element as designed, ensuring compliance with design information, manufacturer’s specification and that customers site specific requirements are met.

·   Consultation to field engineers and customer-on-site performing operation and maintenance and troubleshooting.

·   Responsible for the set up and test of network elements in accordance with the specific manufacturer’s specifications and documentation.

·   Responsible for the final test of the element and its subsequent connection to the existing network according to the specific manufacturer’s specifications and documentation.

·   Supervise technical survey to all proposed location of base station/RF coverage and make recommendations directly with customer.

·   Do the supervision for hired contractors for hard labor installation of antenna and RF cabling, installation of frames, installation of power cabling, drilling, etc.

·   Perform call test or SCFT (i.e. echo and noise, correct parameters), call logs and proceed to site specific troubleshooting.

·   Knowledge in (TCP/IP) LAN and WAN. Configure, connect and troubleshoot various CISCO networking devices.

o          Field Engineer III – Full EF & I, Commissioning and Integration of ATT SIAD (CISCO MWR-2941-DC) using ACAT– South East Project (Georgia). Lead Tech for full EF & I, Commissioning and Integration on Ericsson RBS6601 LTE & UMTS using Ericsson Smart Laptop. Supervision of Level I, II field technician. o (Oct 2013 – Dec 2013) Work directly with ATT deploying Microwave Packet Radio (using Ericsson Mini-Link and ALU 9500 MPR) – IP Backhaul migration using microwave technology.
